UPDATE: Can American Banks Raiding Safety Deposit Boxes Be Legal Next After they Loot their Customers Personal Accounts?

CV 1st posted 08.29.2012

"Yes, We Can! We don't need no phreakin' Constitution!"
                    ...and the people's response is:

the People say "You phreakin' DO need to obey the Federal and state constitutions!" Any actions to seize our private property by any federal agency or their law officers will be nullified by the individual states. Violators or trespassers of these personal rights can and will be arrested and judged in a state court. No federal magistrate has the granted authority to interpret or end-around our Rule of Constitutional Law.

Our own state law enforcement entities will no longer be a "team player" with tyrants, but will as they should be, do the right thing and become team players with the people, not accessories to oppression.

Any bank likewise delegating these confiscations to third parties jeopardize their being prohibited for having any business authority or surrogates within those states.

REVEALED: Corzine’s MF Global Was Client of Eric Holder’s Law Firm

26 Jul 2012, 6:24 AM PDT

Those wondering why the Department of Justice has refused to go after Jon Corzine for the vaporization of $1.6 billion in MF Global client funds need look no further than the documents uncovered by the Government Accountability Institute that reveal that the now-defunct MF Global was a client of Attorney General Eric Holder and Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer’s former law firm, Covington & Burling.

7 Months Since MF Global, And Where's the Investigation? *vid*

MF Global went bankrupt seven months ago and $1.5 billion of its clients' money went missing. Yet, have any criminal charges been filed? Have any government investigations started and have they resulted in anything? We are with Rick Santelli in terms of continuing to discuss this topic until the clients' money is returned and those responsible are held accountable.

Frontline On MF Global's Six Billion Dollar Bet *vid*

UPDATE: Since this post crashed the video servers when it went up last night, we are reposting it again for our readers' convenience.

While the sur-realities of just what Corzine and the rest of the MF Global 'traders' did has been extensively discussed here and elsewhere, PBS' Frontline provides the most succinct (and relatively in-depth) documentary on just what occurred from how the corrupt CEO lobbied regulators who had the power to stop his risky bets to the endgame realization of the missing customer money. A narrative, not just of "a bet that went bad", but "a Wall Street morality tale". Must watch!

The story of Jon Corzine, the former head of Goldman Sachs and political power broker, who took over MF Global in the spring of 2010 with oversize ambition and a passion for risk. But after a massive bet on European debt turned sour, the firm lay in ruins, with more than a billion dollars of customer funds missing.

Gensler the Great Obfuscator is a phoney and liar, and congress lets him go on covering up the crimes of his co-conspirators.

It’s Legal to Regulate the $300 Trillion Swap Market, but Regulators Don’t Have Budget to Do It Right

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has been told by Congress to do more with less, taking on the responsibility of regulating the multi-trillion-dollar swaps market while having its funding frozen at an inadequate level, according to the agency.

Did Bankers Deliberately Crash MF Global to Crash Gold and Silver Prices?

smartknowledgeu's picture

Did bankers use the MF Global bankruptcy to suppress gold and silver prices and create the panicked appearance of collapsing precious metals to give themselves additional precious time to delay the crash of the Euro and the US Dollar? As crazy as this sounds, a closer investigation of some key data seems to imply this possibility.

How George Soros ended up with MF Global’s client money

A warning to former MF Global segregated account holders: If the news has already been more than you can bear, please do not read this post — it may really push you over the edge.

While the congressional hearings have been interesting, at times shocking, at other times even quite entertaining, Congress has yet to connect the dots. So I will do it for them.

The Silver Rush at MF Global

By Erin Arvedlund | Barrons.com

Investors are furious that they can't get back the gold and silver they stashed with the failed brokerage.

It's one thing for $1.2 billion to vanish into thin air through a series of complex trades, the well-publicized phenomenon at bankrupt MF Global. It's something else for a bar of silver stashed in a vault to instantly shrink in size by more than 25%.

Did MF Global Use $80 Million in Customers' Gold & Silver COMEX Warehouse Receipts as Collateral for a $300 M Short Term Loan?

Yesterday we advised readers that 1.42 million ounces of registered silver, and 16,645 ounces of registered gold are not currently available for delivery per the CME, due to the MF Global bankruptcy.

This is roughly $50 million worth of silver, and $30 million worth of gold- or $80 million total.

So the question needs to be asked- why are $80 million in gold and silver unavailable for delivery? Did it vaporize overnight?

Jesse's Café Américain: MF Global's Customer Assets - STOLEN

As suspected, MF Global brazenly took liquid assets like Treasuries and warehouse receipts, but not cash which would have been more quickly missed, from customer accounts to post as illegal collateral for emergency funding with a lender who must have known that they were receiving stolen goods.
