Department of Homeland Security: What is it Good For? by Ron Paul

Late Friday night, Congress passed legislation funding the Department of Homeland Security for one week. This vote followed weeks of debate over efforts to attach a prohibition on funding President Obama's executive order granting amnesty to certain illegal immigrants to the Homeland Security funding bill.

Despite the heated rhetoric from both sides, no one seriously believes that Congress will allow Homeland Security funding to lapse. Most in Congress believe that, without the Department of Homeland Security, Americans would be left unprotected from terrorists and natural disasters. As with most areas of bipartisan agreement, the truth is the exact opposite of the DC consensus. 

The American people would be much better off if Congress transferred the few constitutional functions performed by Homeland Security to other parts of the government and then shut down the rest of the department.

Many Americans associate Homeland Security with the color-coded terrorist warning system and the "if you see something, say something" public relations campaign. These programs were designed to inspire public confidence in the department, but instead they inspired public ridicule.

Ironically, the best case for shutting down this department is its most well-known component -- the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). More terrorist attacks have been thwarted by airline passengers than by the TSA! The TSA may be ineffective at stopping terrorists, but it is very effective at harassing innocent Americans like Lucy Forck. Three-year-old Lucy, who uses a wheelchair, not only had to endure an intrusive screening from TSA agents, but the agents also took away her beloved stuffed animal.

When not abusing children who use wheelchairs, TSA subjects airline passengers to rules that seem designed to make air travel as unpleasant as possible. For example, TSA recently forced a Campaign for Liberty staffer to throw away a jar of Nutella she had in her carry-on luggage. I am sure all airline passengers feel safe knowing that TSA is protecting them from sandwich spreads.

Ending the TSA would return responsibility for airline security to airports and airlines. Private businesses have a greater incentive than a government bureaucracy to ensure their customers' safety. 

Those conservatives who think this is a radical idea should try to think of one area where they trust government bureaucrats to do a better job than private business owners.

Another agency within Homeland Security that the American people could do without is the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Having spent fifteen years in Congress representing a coastal area subject to hurricanes and floods, I have seen first-hand how FEMA places adherence to bureaucratic rules ahead of aiding victims of a natural disaster. As a result, it is not uncommon for disaster victims to wait months or even years for assistance.

FEMA not only fails to provide effective relief to disaster victims, it also impedes private disaster relief efforts. FEMA even hinders disaster victims' efforts to help themselves. While in Congress, I heard stories of individuals being threatened with fines or even jail time if they returned to their property without FEMA's permission. One individual in my district was threatened with arrest if he removed a tarp that FEMA put on his house -- even though FEMA was supposed to have put it on his neighbor's house!

Ten years after the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, it is clear that this department has failed to protect our security, but has infringed on liberty. If Congress really wanted to enhance our security and our liberty it would shut down this unnecessary, unconstitutional department.

La Raza's Growing Influence: Gaining clout and tax dollars in all branches of government

Come the resurgence to launch the NAU, La Raza and its political subversives including the Republican Party will be a tremendous tool for the NWO to ensnare the non-thinking citizenship. Afterall, who would oppose "reform"?

Summary: President Obama’s stunning reversal of his own views on deportation policy is only the most prominent example of influence enjoyed by the National Council of La Raza, which calls itself “the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States.” In addition to its sway with the president, the group has seen its government revenues rise with help from a high-level White House staffer and also seen a former member be named to the Supreme Court.

Before President Barack Obama told a prime-time TV audience on Nov. 20, 2014, that he was going to bypass Congress and shield 5 million illegal aliens from deportation, he confided the details of his sweeping plan to Janet Murguía, president and CEO of the National Council of La Raza. “I knew a lot of what he was going to say before he said it,” Murguía bragged in a C-SPAN interview on Dec. 5. “I met with the president that day, that afternoon.”

It’s hardly a surprise that Obama’s address to the nation sounded like something a La Raza staffer might have written, full of emotional appeals and framing the enforcement of immigration law as an inherent cruelty. 

“Are we a nation that accepts the cruelty of ripping children from their parents’ arms? Or are we a nation that values families, and works to keep them together?” Obama said in the speech.

Obama added that the Department of Homeland Security would focus on recent illegal border crossers, criminals, terrorists, and gang members. “Felons, not families, criminals, not children, gang members, not a mother who’s working hard to provide for her kids,” would be targeted, he said.

La Raza demanded that Obama “go big” in his executive actions on immigration because the president had been unable in previous years to push a comprehensive immigration reform bill—which critics deride as “amnesty”—through Congress. Obama went big indeed. In addition to focusing on criminals facing deportation, he expanded the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, raising the age cap to 31 in order to include anyone who came to the United States from 2007 through 2009.

Less than a year before announcing these actions, hecklers at a San Francisco rally demanded that Obama take similar executive actions to stop deportations. “You have the power to end [deportation],” a heckler told Obama on Nov. 25, 2013.

Obama responded, “Actually I don’t,” as other audience members chanted “stop deportations.” Obama added, “I respect the passion of these young people because they feel deeply about the concerns for their families. Now what you need to know, when I’m speaking as President of the United States, and I come to this community, is that if in fact I could solve all these problems without passing laws in Congress, then I would do so.”

This means that a year before the president unveiled his unilateral immigration plan, he recognized that the Constitution purposely created a pesky separation of powers and that Congress serves in more than an advisory role in American governance. So what happened in the intervening year?

La Raza happened.

The Rise of La Raza

The National Council of La Raza was founded in the stormy days of 1968 and has one of the most questionable names in the political realm. La Raza can be translated as “The Race.” (NCLR disputes this translation, saying it is more properly translated as “the people.”) It has gone from a fringe organization that many would view as outright racist to a leading voice on policy making, influential in the Obama administration and corporate America. It has used this clout to claim it speaks for all Hispanic Americans. But that’s not always the case. The politically connected organization claims 300 affiliates in 41 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. Headquartered in the nation’s capital, it has state and regional offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Phoenix, and San Antonio, Texas.

La Raza has pushed for immigration amnesty, opposed workplace enforcement, and fought against even the most basic voter integrity and national security proposals. (La Raza was previously profiled in the December 2007 Foundation Watch.)

President Obama, a longtime ally of La Raza, has been taking friendly fire from the group of late, but the drama is left-wing kabuki theater. As President Franklin Roosevelt told his left-wing allies after winning the election in 1932, “I agree with you, I want to do it, now make me do it.”

That’s what La Raza is doing.

A year ago Murguía seemed to turn against the president. “For the president, I think his legacy is at stake here,” Murguía said. “We consider him the deportation president, or the deporter-in-chief” (Politico, March 4, 2014).


“Deporter-in-chief” was an epithet hurled at Obama by amnesty activists throughout the year. The Obama administration frequently touted the speedy clip of enforcement action since 2009, and so the slogan was calculated to shame the president into slowing the pace. 

But it wasn’t true. Deportations have actually fallen under Obama. The administration has manipulated the numbers by changing the definition of “deportation.”
 
“We respectfully disagree with the president on his ability to stop unnecessary deportations,” Murguía continued. “He can stop tearing families apart. He can stop throwing communities and businesses into chaos. 

He can stop turning a blind eye to the harm being done. He does have the power to stop this. Failure to act will be a shameful legacy for his presidency.”


After Obama unveiled his executive action, Murguía decided to walk back the “deporter-in-chief” phrase.

“When we had seen the deportations, the number of deportations hit two million—a historic high and much higher than the previous administration under George Bush—there was a lot of frustration and anger in our community, but I actually used that term to really highlight how off-based Speaker [John] Boehner was when he said that the reason he couldn’t move a bill forward on comprehensive immigration reform is because he couldn’t trust President Obama to enforce the laws when in fact, and the fact is, at least two million people have been deported in this fifth year of the Obama presidency,” she said.

Brian Bennett of the Los Angeles Times debunked the left-wing claim that Obama is keen on deporting illegal aliens in an April 1, 2014 article:

“Expulsions of people who are settled and working in the United States have fallen steadily since his first year in office, and are down more than 40% since 2009. On the other side of the ledger, the number of people deported at or near the border has gone up – primarily as a result of changing who gets counted in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency’s deportation statistics. The vast majority of those borders crossers would not have been treated as formal deportations under most previous administrations. If all removals were tallied, the total sent back to Mexico each year would have been far higher under those previous administrations than it is now.”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) publishes an annual Yearbook of Immigration Statistics. Jessica Vaughn of the nonpartisan Center for Immigration Studies wrote in a December 2013 report that “because the Obama administration has blurred the lines of which agencies can take credit for deportations, the only fair way to assess their performance is to count all deportations done by all the DHS agencies.” The DHS Yearbook showed at the time that Bill Clinton’s administration holds the record for deportations. In the Clinton years, an average of 1,536,363 deportations were carried out.

Vaughn writes that “the total number of aliens ‘sent back’ under [the] first four years of the Obama administration is just over 3.2 million.” This represents an annual average of 800,863 deportations. During the presidency of George W. Bush, there were a total of 10,328,850 deportations, which works out to an average of 1,291,106 deportations per year.

Obama is clearly not hellbent on deporting illegal aliens, but the imagery is politically useful, which is why La Raza and its allies promote it.
 
Murguía herself was long active in Democratic politics before becoming head of La Raza in 2005. She worked in Bill Clinton’s White House, eventually serving as deputy assistant to the president. Murguía went on to be the deputy campaign manager and director of constituency outreach for the Al Gore presidential campaign in 2000.
 
From there, she became vice chancellor for university relations at the University of Kansas in 2001. She was an activist in 2004 against the voter-approved Proposition 200 in Arizona, which required residents to prove citizenship before registering to vote or legal immigration status before applying for public benefits.
 
Murguía does well for herself at La Raza. Her salary alone was $330,513 for the year ended Sept. 30, 2013, and she also received an additional $81,112 in other compensation from La Raza and its related entities. That lands Murguía well into the ranks of the much-maligned 1 percent.
 
Under her tenure at La Raza, the organization has advocated for speech restrictions. The organization led a campaign in 2008 against advocates of immigration law enforcement, urging that they be taken off of cable TV news networks. A “We Can Stop the Hate” campaign was initiated by La Raza, Center for American Progress, Media Matters, and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF). It targeted amnesty opponents, who were described as “hate groups, nativists, and vigilantes” (Discover the Networks).
 
Borrowing a page from Marxist theoretician Herbert Marcuse, Murguía has also “argued that hate speech should not be tolerated, even if such censorship were a violation of First Amendment rights,” according to a New York Times report of a speech she gave at the National Press Club (Feb. 1, 2008).
 
Murguía hopes to continue to have the same sway with the next president, and expects Obama’s executive actions to continue in force. “I believe that the next president of the United States will have to come right through the Latino community to get to the White House, and they have to be very thoughtful of how they position themselves on immigration, and I think they have to stay away from this executive order and not try to undo it if they want to be president,” Murguía said during the December C-SPAN interview.
 
The historic Republican victory in 2014 congressional elections came without the GOP taking any clearly discernible position on comprehensive immigration reform. Still, Murguía said the party wouldn’t win the presidency without supporting amnesty, claiming that in 2016, “the demographics of the Electoral College will come home to roost for Republicans.”
 
“If they continue on this trajectory, Republicans will have elected their last president for the foreseeable future. Latino voter priorities must be reflected in Republican policy priorities,” Murguía said (Breitbart, Nov. 6, 2014).
 
Murguía cited the questionable Latino Decisions poll after the 2014 election that said immigration was the top issue with 45 percent of Hispanic voters, ahead of the economy, which registered just 34 percent.
 
“This is a call to action for both parties,” Murguía said after the Republican tsunami. “We fully expect the president to act boldly, but that action should spur Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform at long last. It’s not an either/or situation. For the good of the nation, we need both the president and Congress to act now. Latinos will expect the GOP to use its majority position to not only make inroads with our community but, most importantly, do what’s in the best interest of our country.” (TheBlaze, Nov. 11, 2014)
 
La Raza takes part in sophisticated get-out-the-vote operations. Part of that voter-mobilization has come through the “ya es hora ¡VE Y VOTA!” (“It’s Time, Go Vote!”) project, which describes itself as “an historic non-partisan Latino civic participation campaign launched as the Latino community’s action-oriented follow-up to the immigrant mobilizations of 2006.  The campaign represents the largest and most comprehensive effort to incorporate Latinos as full participants in the American political process.  Unlike past approaches which focused on one component of civic engagement, this multi-layered campaign takes a comprehensive approach that links naturalization to voter participation and Census enumeration under a single message: ‘it’s time.’”
 
This project is the child of multiple “national Latino organizations including Mi Familia Vota, the NALEO [National Association of Latino Elected and appointed Officials] Educational Fund, the National Council of La Raza and Spanish language media companies Entravision Communications, ImpreMedia and Univision Communications.”
 
In January 2014, La Raza teamed with the Mi Familia Vota Education Fund for the “Mobilize to Vote 2014” campaign. The goal was to register more than 250,000 new Hispanic voters by mail for that year’s midterm elections. The effort involved three targets: 
18-year-olds, registered voters who moved, and the broader Hispanic voting-age public in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Florida, and California (Discover the Networks).
As it turned out, this didn’t help Democrats stay in power. In many cases, Republicans did well with Latino voters. But La Raza’s influence lies in bending policymakers on Capitol Hill and—especially—the White House.
 
Capital Research Center reached out to National Council of La Raza providing the group opportunities to respond to this article. At press time no response had been received.
 
Conservatives may not be enthusiastic about La Raza’s political activities, but supporters say it does perform some good works. In a July 23, 2013 speech at La Raza’s annual conference, First Lady Michelle Obama called La Raza a “great American organization” that for more than four decades “has served as a powerful voice on the most important issues of our time — from voting rights to health care, from education to immigration. 

Because of all of you, your steadfast work, we have seen such great progress for the Latino community and for our country.”
 
NCLR boasts that it “conducts applied research, policy analysis, and advocacy, providing a Latino perspective in five key areas — assets/investments, civil rights/immigration, education, employment and economic status, and health. In addition, it provides capacity-building assistance to its Affiliates who work at the state and local level to advance opportunities for individuals and families.”

Texas Judge Andrew Hanen Blocks Obama Immigration Order

This is how our Republic can be restored… gradual, but non-violent and effective. It'd pretty much be accomplished anyway with or without the Texas federal judge. No doubt Washington federal magistrates will be grateful for states' helping them get back on track under our country's Rule of Law.

(Newser) – A federal judge in Texas has issued an order banning officials from implementing "any and all aspects" of President Obama's executive order on immigration, just two days before the first applications for deferred deportation were to be received. US District Judge Andrew Hanen decided that a lawsuit led by Texas and joined by 25 other states satisfied legal requirements, reports the New York Times. "The court finds that the government's failure to secure the border has exacerbated illegal immigration into this country," which "significantly drains the states' resources," he wrote, calling failure to enforce immigration laws "both dangerous and unconscionable" and temporarily suspending programs that could defer deportation for around 5 million people.

The ruling was hailed by Texas officials, including Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who said it had checked "the president's attempt to bypass the will of the American people," reports the Los Angeles Times. But supporters of Obama's immigration order say the ruling is just the first step in a long legal battle, and legal scholars tell the New York Times that an appeals court is almost certain to lift Hanen's ruling. The judge, who has been on the federal bench since 2002, was assigned the immigration case through an automated system, reports the AP, which notes that Hanen wasn't known for being outspoken on immigration until a case in 2013, when he accused the federal government of taking part in a "criminal conspiracy" by reuniting a child smuggled from El Salvador with her mother, who was in the US illegally.

Churches & Organizations Promoting Liberation Theology

A vast network of Roman Catholic and Protestant church organizations devoted to the spread of Marxism-Leninism under the guise of LiberationTheology has been developed in the past 25 years.

  At the highest level of Catholic Church organization are Marxist sympathizers Bryan Heir and Thomas Quigley. Father Heir was given the Letelier Award by the radical leftist Institute for Policy Studies. (Orlando Letelier was a known Chilean communist, openly admired by Heir.) Quigley is active in a number of pro-communist organizations, including the Council for Hemispheric Affairs, the Washington Office for Latin America, and the Religious Task Force on Central America.

The main instrument for the communist use of the Church is the network of Justice and Peace Commissions. These organizations exist at all levels of the Catholic Church. Local commissions are formed by individual parishioners, whose activities typically include letter writing in support of leftist causes and support for boycotts.

This official set of church organizations is supplemented by many other groups, including the Maryknoll and Jesuit orders and Pax Christi.

Pax Christi is a frankly political group that involves bishops, priests, and lay people. Bishop Thomas Gumbleton, head of the U.S. chapter of Pax Christi, for example, was known to be a Sandinista sympathizer and a personal supporter of Maryknoll priest Miguel D’Escoto, an avowed communist.

At the local level, the organizations are too many to list. Worthy of special note, however, is the Mexican American Cultural Center (MACC) in the diocese of San Antonio, Texas, which maintains an active liberationist program.

Active throughout the hemisphere, but especially in Texas, the MACC has its fingers in a number of progressive pies. They advocate opening U.S. borders to uncontrolled immigration, harbor illegal aliens, organize farm labor strikes, and establish Basic Christian Communities to promote Liberation Theology among Hispanics.

In the Washington, DC area, many groups are active in promoting Liberation Theology, including: The Center of Concern, a Jesuit front; The Quixote Center; Network, the official lobbying group of leftist nuns; The Christic Institute; and The Jesuit Mission Center.

The National Council of Churches (NCC) and a number of its member organizations also promote Liberation Theology. Consider these:

• Church World Service actively contributes funds to leftist governments with which the NCC sympathizes.
• Domestic Hunger Network spends more money supporting leftwing political activism than feeding the needy.
• Agricultural Missions Program supports local indigenous movements that tend toward total liberation of rural people - spiritual, economic, and political.
• Cluster on Unity and Relationships fosters ecumenical merging of church groups with differing doctrines, all in the context of Liberation Theology.
• Cluster on Church Life and Witness (Divison on Church and Society) is an outreach to increase the acceptance of Liberation Theology propaganda in public discussion, media communications, and educational curriculum.
• Cluster on Church and Society promotes a broad, leftist agenda on issues including poverty, racism, sexism, civil liberties, ecology, and welfare.
• Cluster on International Ministries works with overseas religious groups to promote socialist policies there and undermine anti-communist governments combatting terrorism.
• The Clergy and Laity Concerned, formed by the NCC in 1965, is closely allied to the communist World Peace Council and was active in the assault on South Africa.
• Another group, the American Friends Service Committee, formed by 14 socialist Quakers in 1917, has been infiltrated and used by communists to promote their domestic and foreign policy objectives - including the promotion of liberationist activities worldwide.
• The Riverside Church Disarmament Program (RCDP), run by activists in the leadership of the Marxist Institute for Policy Studies, is a propaganda organization active in the spread of liberationism. RCDP also is closely allied to the communist World Peace Council.

Additional promotion of Liberation Theology is conducted by major Protestant denominations, most notably Methodist, Episcopal, and Presbyterian, as well as by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. ----Father Enrique Rueda

Republican Leadership Fast-track Constitutionally-INELIGIBLE Candidates for President!

 CPAC - Conservative Division and Desperation on Parade

Many of us could see that we hit the bottom of the conservative talent pool when George W. Bush had to be recruited from Texas just to avoid John McCain in 2000. Fourteen years later, conservatives are quite literally grasping at straws in the latest CPAC Presidential Straw Poll for 2016.

The results of the 2014 CPAC Straw Poll is shocking to say the least, highly disturbing at best. 27% of CPAC voters voted for a constitutionally ineligible candidate – 11% Sen. Ted Cruz – 7% former Senator Rick Santorum – 6% Sen. Marco Rubio – 2% Gov. Bobby Jindal and 1% Gov. Nikki Haley… none of whom are Natural Born Citizens of the United States under Article II requirements for the office.

The mere fact that CPAC placed these names on their ballot at all is very telling… On the same day CPAC and Drudge poll results were issued, Fox News reported that Ted Cruz is “not eligible” for high office, based upon a false definition of Natural Born Citizen which leaves Obama presumed eligible.

CPAC has been running a straw poll since 1976 and over the thirty-eight years since, the CPAC poll correctly identified only three GOP nominees, Reagan, George W. Bush and Mitt Romney, only two of whom became president. Not a great track record in terms of influence or predictions…and that may be a good thing.

Drudge Report ran their own straw poll at the same time and the results were equally troubling. Sen. Ted Cruz, who is a Natural Born Citizen of Cuba and Canada, not the United States, received support from 29% of Drudge readers. Libertarian freshman senator Rand Paul, the first US Senator to attempt to legislate by campaign data basing petitions, topped the Drudge results at 31% of the vote.

Like the CPAC poll, Drudge offered no less than three “constitutionally ineligible candidates” to voters and 33% of Drudge voters cast their ballot for one of those three ineligible candidates. Amazing!

Barack Hussein Obama is the first constitutionally ineligible candidate to win the most powerful political office on earth, not once but twice, thanks to an ever increasingly ignorant electorate. Five years later, the term Natural Born Citizen has been so bastardized by people on all sides of the political debate that the term literally has no meaning at all today. Partisanship trumps the Rule of Constitutional Law, even amongst so-called “constitutionalists.”

Of course, once words lose meaning, our Constitution and Bill of Rights lose all meaning as well.

Senators have never made good executive branch leaders in 227 years of U.S. history and despite the fact that congressional approval has been in the single digits for years now, a large percentage of “right-wing” voters seem to think that two freshman senators are the best we can do, even if one of them isn’t even eligible for the office.

To say the least, it is a very disturbing sign of things to come, an electorate in which no group has respect or reverence for the founding principles and values that once made America the greatest nation on earth.

Thomas Jefferson warned – “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.” – and he further explained, “We in America do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate.”

What is America’s future when the majority of those who participate are too ignorant to participate?

The international left is in the closing hours of their total destruction of the Constitutional Republic. Not a single member of the U.S. Congress has lifted a finger to stop the destruction that nearly every American is able to see today. Communists no longer have to work in the shadows. Under more progressive sounding titles like liberal, they are able to drive America off a cliff without so much as a fight…

And those who pretend to resist, now participate in the same set of evils as their alleged opponents, advancing ineligible candidates, violating more than 300 million legal American citizens in favor of 20 million illegal invaders, authorizing debt levels that no nation can survive, and sitting on their hands as anti-American leftists seize control of nearly every private industry and asset in America.

The salvation will come from CPAC, who is promoting a couple freshman senators with pretty words and an otherwise empty résumé, one of which is not even eligible for office? The salvation will come from Drudge readers doing the same?

God help us if these groups are to be the beacon of truth, justice and the American way…. They are just as corrupt as the corrupt politicians in D.C. that they claim to oppose.

Half of our nation’s eligible voters don’t even bother to vote and the other half are in a race to the bottom of the political cesspool, both totally discarding the Constitution and Bill of Rights as if they no longer apply.

In 2008, many Tea Party folks were so focused on disqualifying John McCain, who is a Natural Born Citizen of the United States, that they left the door wide open for an anti-American communist from Kenya to seize the White House.

McCain became the GOP nominee with 1575 primary delegates, Huckabee receiving 278, Romney 271 and Ron Paul 14. CPAC had chosen Mitt Romney in the 2008 straw poll. McCain was below the bottom of the talent pool… the pool was drained empty in 2000.

In 2012, CPAC chose Mitt Romney again and Romney became the nominee with 1462 GOP delegates, Santorum receiving 234, Ron Paul 154 and Gingrich 137 delegates. The GOP was more divided than ever and when conservative evangelicals and Ron Paul libertarians refused to vote for “the Mormon” in the general election, America’s most anti-American unconstitutional White House resident was re-elected with at least 49% of the nation opposed.

All of this spells serious trouble for the 2016 presidential election cycle. If Hillary Clinton decided to run, she will essentially run unopposed for the DNC nomination. The Democratic Socialists will once again be united in their assault on America…

Meanwhile, it looks like the deep divisions in the so-called resistance or opposition party, the GOP, run deeper than ever.

If ineligible candidates like Cruz, Rubio or Santorum somehow win the nomination, they will be obliterated in the general election and GOP voters will deserve another national spanking.

If freshman libertarian legislators with no record of accomplishment like Rand Paul, somehow become the GOP nominee, the RNC will lose by historic margins and the Republican Party will cease to exist beyond 2016.

Now, before libertarians and unconstitutional “constitutionalists” write to attack what I am saying here, realize that what I said in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012 was dead on the mark. I said that the right was in self-destruct mode and they were. I said that the so-called “right” was so internally divided that they were easy prey for the Marxist left.

I said that 2008 was very likely to be the “point of no return” for America, wherein 51-49 became 49-51 for the foreseeable future, at least several generations, if not forever. I was right on all predictions…at a time when I prayed every day that I was wrong!

Today, more than ever before, the political right is poised to commit national suicide, driving the final nail in the coffin of a once great nation. Sadly, the political right now shares a condition once reserved only for the political left… facts don’t matter when they don’t suit your agenda.

As a result, the right is dooming itself to failure, and in doing so, they are dooming the nation to total collapse. Do I have to be proven right again for people to listen?

Weapons of Legislative Warfare

As predictable as the rising and setting of the sun, the Republican machine is bent on betraying its base. They will force Amnesty on us in a brutish move that aligns itself with Obama and the other Progressive Marxists. 

Obama has declared that he will conduct weaponized legislative warfare in the coming year and by the use of pen and phone, he will have his way with illegal immigration and raising the minimum wage. It is a dictatorial move that is breathtaking and basically circumvents and destroys the Constitution — all the while, Progressive Republicans will be assisting and aiding him behind the scenes and out in the open for the world to see, just as they did with Obamacare. This is not to help the downtrodden. This is for the votes and the labor, pure and simple.

Brown Shirts of the new Cuba unite:

“We are not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we’re providing Americans the kind of help that they need,” President Obama told reporters before a meeting with his Cabinet Tuesday. “I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone.”

The pen, the president said, can be used “to sign executive orders and take executive actions,” while the phone will allow the president to bring together non-profits, businesses, and universities to promote a “unifying theme–making sure that this is a country where if you work hard, you can make it.”

And while Obama plays dictator, John Boehner plays traitor:

“John Boehner is planning to unveil a set of Republican principles for immigration reform before President Obama’s State of the Union address, aiming to show the GOP is not hostile to legislation that might win them Hispanic voters.

According to House leadership and immigration-policy aides, the principles will be broad, nebulous even, and heavily focused on Republicans’ favorite immigration issue—border security. It will not include any concrete proposal, they said. Indeed, the wording is likely to be intentionally squishy, giving lawmakers lots of room to maneuver.

But no matter what happens, Boehner will come out a winner just for the effort. If it flops over hardliners’ objections to anything that approaches amnesty for illegal immigrants, Boehner and Republican campaign leaders looking for cash can still tell the business community they tried. What’s more, it could lay the groundwork for a Republican overture to Hispanic voters, a group everyone sees as critical to winning in 2016.”

Seriously, the Republican party needs a good old-fashioned political enema. The TEA Party needs to ascend and real conservatives need to take over and kick all the Progressives out. Stop screwing around and get it done. You can start by getting rid of John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn. All are pushing this monstrosity. If Obama and Boehner pull off this swindle, they will legalize 6.5 million illegal immigrants over night and that is just the start.

The Republicans will wait to be strengthened after midterm victories and then will go whole hog on Amnesty. They will push this as Obama becomes a true lame duck, believing it will get them enough votes to win in 2016. It won’t and they are delusional. Instead, it will all but guarantee a permanent Democrat/Marxist majority.

Is it any wonder the Brits are calling Obama incompetent and insane? 

Sir Hew Strachan, an expert on the history of war, says that the president’s strategic failures in Afghanistan and Syria have crippled America’s position in the world and he is so right. America appears lost and rudderless, and now with the open borders insanity, she appears suicidal.

Obama is not alone in this treasonous action. Big business CEOs are lining up, begging for Amnesty to fill their slave-like positions. Creating an underclass and pushing most of the middle class of America into a third world hellhole. All for money and power. These boot licking, sycophants are throwing money at Obama and clamoring for this in a new world where self-interest and greed rules, and freedom and choice are dying. This is nothing new… simply read up on how big business cuddled with Adolph Hitler and you’ll get an idea of what we are experiencing. These business titans use grandiose terminology such as “common sense” and “forward thinking.” It’s anything but what they say – it is slavery and it is evil.

208 CEO’s of the Business Roundtable vigorously applauded the efforts of Paul Ryan to pass Amnesty. The national Chamber of Commerce is pushing Amnesty hard. What do you think this means for the long, long, long term unemployed in this country? What does it mean for the young? Hell, what does it predict for all of our jobs out there? Think. It will destroy our working class and double down on an already lengthy depression. Poverty will be the new norm and those wealthy elite in power who are Marxists will never leave, not without bloodshed. 

Corrupt business and corrupt government always ends badly. Always.

As Obama tells America that he is willing to use his pen and phone to bypass Congress with Executive action in 2014, a nation cringes at what is about to hit them. With Obamacare already devastating us financially, Amnesty will be the final blow. The Marxists can’t wait — they have waited so long and the conquering of America is finally at hand. Will we roll over and wet ourselves, or will we fight for the elections in 2014 and 2016? We must elect true conservatives and stop the Amnesty beast from lumbering into America’s Babylon. Stop bolstering the Marxist vote — start empowering the patriot movement.

She helps them clean up with bathroom wipes and toothbrushes, and she stocks a drawer with clean socks, underwear, pants and shoes.

It’s a recovery so lopsided only Timothy Geithner or an oligarch could love it. Since 2008, U.S. economic policy has concentrated on funneling as much money as possible to billionaires, keeping the poor alive and submissive through government programs, and squeezing the middle class to death while at the same time holding out the carrot of hope that things will return to how they were before (they won’t).

The latest evidence of this monumental cultural theft was highlighted yesterday in the Washington Post. Here are a few excerpts:

For the first time in at least 50 years, a majority of U.S. public school students come from low-income families, according to a new analysis of 2013 federal data, a statistic that has profound implications for the nation.

The Southern Education Foundation reports that 51 percent of students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in the 2012-2013 school year were eligible for the federal program that provides free and reduced-price lunches. The lunch program is a rough proxy for poverty, but the explosion in the number of needy children in the nation’s public classrooms is a recent phenomenon that has been gaining attention among educators, public officials and researchers.

A “recent phenomenon.” Call me crazy, but that isn’t what you’d expect five years into a so-called economic recovery.

“We’ve all known this was the trend, that we would get to a majority, but it’s here sooner rather than later,” said Michael A. Rebell of the Campaign for Educational Equity at Teachers College at Columbia University, noting that the poverty rate has been increasing even as the economy has improved. “A lot of people at the top are doing much better, but the people at the bottom are not doing better at all. Those are the people who have the most children and send their children to public school.”

Again, this isn’t a economic recovery, it is theft. Until we can admit to ourselves what the idiots and thieves in power have done, nothing will change.

Since the re-election of Barack Obama a list of prominent Republican politicians and media figures have publicly endorsed amnesty for the many millions of illegal immigrants in the United States. The list includes Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, Sean Hannity, Charles Krauthammer and Haley Barbour as well as long-time amnesty supporters Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Marco Rubio and Grover Norquist (see here, here, here, here and here).

Alan Stang, Donnie Kennedy, and I were right about the Republican Party

Back in early 2008, author and researcher Alan Stang wrote an article entitled The Republican Party–Red From the Start. Mr. Stang provided much documentation in this and other articles showing where the Republican Party was really coming from and what its origins were and, folks, let me tell you, those origins weren’t over on the “far right.”

In that article, Alan reviewed the first edition of Donnie Kennedy’s and my book Lincoln’s Marxists, and he made the statement “You really need to read this book.” Unfortunately, Alan passed away in 2010, I think it was, and his research and writing skills are sorely missed. He used to dig up material that the regular media people wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole, material they most studiously avoided, and he dealt with it for his audience, which seems to have been considerable. Years earlier, I had read his classic work It’s Very Simple—the true story of Civil Rights. You might check Amazon.com to see if it’s still around. Alan bared all the facts the media and the “civil rights’ crowd didn’t want you to know.

Many people might be naively tempted to think Alan, Donnie, and I are way off in our view of the Republican Party. Unfortunately, the facts show otherwise. Donnie and I dealt somewhat with the early Republican Party in our book, and a few years back, I also did an article entitled The Republican Party—There are no conservative roots there. I checked to see if it was still on the Internet and the only place I can find it right now is on http://www.thisbloodlessliberty.com It was posted there on December 8, 2012. You might also check a somewhat related article on http://www.confederateamericanpride.com called The Mendacious Yankee Culture. You might ask where I am going with all this history. You may have been raised in a political environment where the Republican Party was touted as the party of “small government.” Let me tell you, nothing could be further from the truth.

In our most recent charade (pardon me, I meant election) the Republicans picked up several seats in the Senate and even some in the House. Gullible Americans were convinced, and still are, that now the country will turn around and move to the right, to a more conservative position. They feel that the Republican leadership in Congress will now move to do battle with Obama and seek to route his egregious socialism. What a laugh! And the laugh is on us, folks, the American electorate has been snookered again—the seventh time since 1980, actually the ninth time if you add Obama’s “transparency” into the mix—and you might just as well, because there is precious little difference between the two parties save for the rhetoric. Their agendas are identical.

Pastor Chuck Baldwin had an article published on the Internet today (Dec 18, 2014) entitled Are You Mad Yet? It dealt with the recent Republican victory in the elections and went on to note that the Republican Party is already working in the Congress to betray its constituents and they’re not even waiting for the new year to do it. They are working overtime to give Comrade Obama what he wants while he still has a majority in the Senate.

Pastor Baldwin quoted long-time Republican activist, Mike Scruggs, when he wrote, “I have been a Republican County Chairman in both North Carolina and Alabama. I have served countless hard-working hours as a volunteer for Republican candidates. I am therefore deeply grieved that the Republican Party leadership in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate has seen fit to betray the principles and values of a substantial majority of Republican voters, and the majority of the American people. 

This last week witnessed both the House and Senate passing budget bills that essentially gave Obama’s unlawful amnesty for five million illegal immigrant workers an effective pass…Our liberty and freedom are being traded for gold in the form of huge special interest political campaign donations…

According to the Heritage Foundation, the average unlawful immigrant household receives $14,387 more in government services and benefits paid than taxes paid. This will almost double with amnesty, because of more benefits. This is essentially a taxpayer subsidy to businesses using illegal immigrant labor… What kind of GOP leadership wants more of these injustices to American workers and taxpayers? 

Speaker of the House John Boehner did not give a pass to Obama’s amnesty and plans to double illegal immigrant workers because he feared being blamed for a government shutdown. He wants amnesty so that establishment Republicans can continue to receive huge donations from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and other cheap labor lobbying associations.” 

So, when it comes right down to it, with the Republicans just like the Democrats, it’s all about money and power and the average voter be damned. He doesn’t count with either party except to have to pay for the mess they make.

An interesting question was asked by Pastor Baldwin: “When will the U.S. electorate awaken to the fact that we do not have two parties in Washington, D.C.? And when will conservative Republicans awaken to the fact that their party in D.C. does NOT represent them—and has no intentions of representing them? At the leadership level, both Democrats and Republicans represent big money, globalist agendas. Neither party cares a hoot in Hades about their constituents—much less liberty and constitutional government. 

The toll that amnesty is going to take on this republic will be horrific. No, more than that, it will forever change the future of our country. And it won’t take long…I’m talking about escalating crime rates. I’m talking about federally-mandated expulsion of America’s historic Christian culture. I’m talking about rising unemployment for American citizens—especially African Americans…That African Americans will be among the hardest hit by the invasion of illegals is the dirty little secret that Democrat Party leaders are not telling their constituents…”

Pastor Baldwin urges those who love liberty in the Republican Party to secede from it and “join the millions of independents who got mad and left years ago.” He refers to our current system as the “two-party duopoly” that is killing the life and liberty of this country. He’s right, and you know what, with their globalist mindset they love every minute of it! Their destruction of this country is a planned destruction. They’re not merely stupid or ignorant—they know what they are doing. All they have to do is to make sure the public never figures it out.

But some of the public IS beginning to figure it out. I got an email from a man today that has figured out what’s going on, and he explains it in very plain language. He states: “There is no political party that represents the people. Those days are long over—a mere footnote in history. We may elect our reps to the Congress, but once there, the special interest parasites quickly buy them out—though not before the Establishment “heads” of each party call them in and tell them ‘this is how we do business here.’ The tiny few in D.C. who actually stand for constitutional parameters are culled out and discredited by the establishment elites.” Now you know what happened to Ron Paul in 2012. He was too honest. He wouldn’t play the game so he had to go, and they made sure he did—any way they had to. I have often wondered that, if by some fluke he had managed to win the election, would he have met with some sort of “accident” that would have incapacitated him? Having the Republican nomination stolen from him may well have saved his life.

In speaking of our “elected representatives” the email sender noted: “They throw out the sound-bytes they knew we want to hear, then cast a vote that is the very antithesis of their words. Their loyalty is not to the people nor their oath—they are lords and nobles to their NWO (New World Order) handlers who provide them money, power, and control in exchange for using their elected post to dismantle the idea of America.” Unfortunately, this is a very apt description of what we send to Washington. Does anyone wonder why the national opinion of Congress is literally in the single digits? Even the election changed nothing of real importance. No matter which party is “in power” it will be business as usual in Washington, but then, that trend took a major step forward with the election of Lincoln and the Republican triumph in the War of Northern Aggression.

Some of the Republican congressmen today may be a bit more suave than old Thad Stevens or Ben Wade were, but not all. We still have John McCain and when he loses his cool, suave he ain’t.

So don’t look for any help from the Republican Establishment in returning the country to where it should be. They ain’t having any of that—it’s not part of the New World Order agenda. A good place to start might be in prayer to the Lord, asking Him to retard the progress of the One World Government crowd and to confuse their efforts. He can do that. If enough of us repent of our sins and pray that way, He might be pleased to hear us. That doesn’t mean we don’t do anything else, but it means that we start with prayer.
