Has Your State taken any Steps to Reclaim Your State Sovereign Land from the Federal Government? Why not?

1st published by CV on 11.03.2011

This method is preferred first before parading with "secessionist fervor" which is far more easily debunked by our enemies. Besides, any resolution voting secession would likely be rigged.

We first posted this alert in November 2011. You can see now how much of the western states are being assumed by the fedgov in the spreadsheet below, namely the BLM. Be courageous, do the lawful thing. You've got a lot more behind you now than we did in 1860!

Would you tolerate complete strangers squatting on your front lawn? No? Then... brush-up on your spelling of N-S-A., now add B-L-M.

States Must Reclaim their Sovereign Lands From the Federal Government ~

We put up the commentary below last November. Although we have no idea how Montanans made out with HR 1505, it's an object lesson for states and how to reclaim their sovereign property from the fedgov.

DHS in Kalispell, Montana

Why do Montanans still permit the feds on their sovereign land? The feds are claiming ownership of nearly 32% of Montana. States' governors should already be well underway recalling their respective national guard units from unlawful foreign deployment. At home, county sheriffs should be afforded close attention for any specific requirements outside of federal aid or personnel, warranting respect from state government and the people.

As many who study the “war on terror” will agree, the apparatus implemented by the Federal Government to fight the phony war has been turned around on the American populace.  Almost all large cities, and many smaller ones, have beefed up their armaments to ridiculous levels.  Even the NY Times has noticed this phenomenon.  Living within the sparsely populated Flathead Valley, one would think us immune from DHS intervention.  However, with Kalispell, Montana being one of the hubs of the Liberty Movement, it comes as no surprise that DHS has set-up shop here.

In the interview below, I speak to an eyewitness who followed four of these vehicles through town.  At one point, they were flanked by air support with a .50 caliber machine-gunner on back.  Please take the time to comment on this article below if you live in the Flathead Valley and you have seen similar vehicles.

You're all familiar with this story, but the state political leaderships are upset over their sovereignty being disrespected, tramped & spit upon and kicked in the face - - 'bout time, eh? The sensible solution is to deport all the illegals along with employees of the offending fedgov agencies, look to local county sheriffs to restore integrity of state borders and law and order under respective state laws. Expel the federal presence; limited re-entry only with senior state law enforcement permit. The states can work together without fed interference.

And...not to be off the grid are the states' national guard regiments which can be deployed to duty at the discretion of our state governors. Aren't you ready to admit that our Founders knew what they were doing right along?

As if it weren’t bad enough that even convicts qualify for Obama amnesty, check out what’s going on in Arizona; the federal government is dumping an unknown number of illegal immigrants caught in Texas at bus stations in Phoenix and Tucson.

The feds didn’t even have the courtesy to give state officials a heads up that hundreds, possibly thousands, of illegal aliens would be dropped off for processing by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and subsequently released into the general population. A chunk of the migrants got apprehended in Texas over Memorial Day weekend after crossing into the state through the Rio Grande Valley, according to news reports.

Evidently Border Patrol agents in Texas are overwhelmed because there’s been a huge surge in illegal crossers in one concentrated area and the Obama administration hasn’t provided an increase in manpower. So someone at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) came up with the brilliant idea of simply shuffling the weekend influx of illegal aliens to another state. In all, more than 400 families were relocated to the Tucson area as part of the operation.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer learned that the feds were using her state as a dumping ground for illegal immigrants in the media. She was rightfully outraged and fired off a letter to the president calling the plot dangerous and unconscionable. “This unwarranted operation is another disturbing example of a deliberate failure to enforce border security policies and repair a broken immigration system,” Governor Brewer tells the commander-in-chief.

She goes on to blast the feds for abandoning women, children and unaccompanied juveniles in scorching Arizona summer heat without any food, water or basic necessities. “Consequently, this federal operation seems to place expediency over basic humanitarian concerns,” Brewer writes, reminding that this time of year temperatures in Arizona regularly reach 100 degrees. “The federal government should not shirk its lawful responsibility to care for and properly process these individuals.”

Brewer ends the letter with a few demands to help understand the operation’s scope and goal. For instance, she asks who authorized this policy and why the government selected her state as the target. She also wants to know how many aliens have been transported from other states to Arizona and released through this operation and what the federal government knows about the backgrounds and histories of the aliens being transported and released in her state. The governor also asks what’s caused the massive influx of illegal aliens in Texas that can’t be handled by authorities there and what’s being done to secure the state’s border.

If you think the Texas Rangers aren't up to protecting Texas, you tell 'em, not me!
Annual DPS Photo of Texas Rangers, ©2009, TRHFM,

“In closing, I urge you to end this dangerous and unconscionable policy immediately, and instead take actions to fulfill the federal government’s fundamental responsibility of protecting our homeland by securing our nation’s borders,” Brewer writes. President Obama will probably use the letter to have White House staff scoop up the First Dog’s poop, but at least Brewer is on the record with her concerns. The Arizona governor is used to clashing with the administration over immigration issues. In fact, the Obama Justice Department has engaged in a nasty legal battle over Arizona’s immigration control law.

While all this is going on, a huge number of unaccompanied illegal immigrant children are crossing into the U.S. and Obama has officially deemed it an “urgent humanitarian situation.” To handle it appropriately, the commander-in-chief has directed the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish an interagency Unified Coordination Group to develop an appropriate federal response to the crisis. This, of course, requires lots of money and American taxpayers will get stuck with the tab. U.S. taxpayers spent $868 million to care for unaccompanied illegal immigrants under 18 this year and the cost is expected to increase to $2 billion by next year, according to a mainstream news report citing administration figures.

Hear Anything About Nevada's "Grass March"?

Hitler had his Waffen SS ("protective squadrons")  Washington's tyrants of today have their BLM and Homeland Security ....progress. Get it?

By Al Benson Jr.

The “Sagebrush Rebellion” continues in the Far West, but you are not hearing much about it around the rest of the country now. The BLM got a national black eye over the Cliven Bundy situation in April and so, almost as if by agreement, the “news” media seems to have backed off so they can do what they want with no media coverage, or as little as they can get by with. Should we expect anything else? The last thing the media is about is real news. They avoid it like the plague. The media is all about propaganda and spin. Real news doesn’t even enter into their equation.

A friend in Nevada sent me a clipping from the Las Vegas Review for May 18th. It was an article written by Sherman Frederick called A righteous protest of BLM. Mr. Frederick wrote about an event called the “Grass March” which was to take place on Memorial Day weekend in Nevada.

Mr. Frederick wrote: “Now comes the ‘Grass March’ from a group of Nevada ranchers looking to take their plight to the range of Northern Nevada in the form of a 70-mile horseback journey from Elko to Battle Mountain. The march will be a public protest highlighting the plight of ranchers under the yoke of federal oppression. It’s a smart move on the part of Westerners, especially in the aftermath of the confrontation between the BLM and Cliven Bundy in Bunkerville…But the cowboys in Elko, Ely, Eureka and Battle Mountain have a better idea. To draw attention to how the BLM has run roughshod over sane management of public lands, they will protest by riding horseback over public grasslands between Elko and Battle Mountain over Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully, Nevada’s newspapers and the nation’s large newspapers and television stations will come along and tell the story.

Ranchers in 2014 are to the BLM what the people of India were to the British Empire in the 1930s—a subjugated people forced to live by the whims of a government that neither understands the people nor cares about the land.”

It was a good idea, but I don’t recall hearing much of anything about it over the Memorial Day weekend where I am in North Louisiana. Most of the papers that carried anything about it at all were small local papers in Nevada, although the Kansas City Star did carry an article and papers in Houston and Seattle had articles, but there was nothing of what I would call national coverage. Anything that would have made the BLM look bad or told the truth about how they bullied ranchers was to be avoided by the media. Now had a few militia members showed up to ride with the cowboys the “news” media would have crawled out from under their collectivist rocks and showed up in droves, and you can just imagine the headlines there would have been—“Extremist, Right-wing Militia Rides with Cowboys to Denigrate the BLM.” That’s how the “news” game is played in this country nowadays.

As you take a look at this whole game (and it is a game, the intent of which is to push ranchers and farmers off the land so the government can more effectively “manage” it) you find that there is a pattern to all of this BLM “concern” for the land.

There was an article in Imprimis, which is published by Hillsdale College, in April, 2014. It was written by William Perry Pendley, President of the Mountain States Legal Foundation. Mr. Pendley’s article was quite straightforward. He wrote: “…the Obama administration has picked up where the Carter and Clinton administrations left off, adopting the no-use policies promoted by environmental groups who view all federal lands as off limits to productive human activity. A typical way these policies get implemented is for environmental interest groups to sue a government agency under either the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) or the Endangered Species Act (ESA), and for the agency then to settle the lawsuit in the interest group’s favor.” So the radical environmental groups and the government agencies work hand in glove to get what they want—ordinary people off the land so it can be locked up. Mr. Pendly mentioned a group I have referred to before as being active in this landlocking game, Wild Earth Guardians. This group has attempted to restrict land use for agriculture, gas and oil drilling and wind farms in a five state area—Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado and Kansas because of certain areas inhabited by the lesser prairie chicken. All of this restricts use of the land by ranchers, oil and gas drillers and others. If the use of this land will, in any way, help the economic outlook for ordinary folks then that use must be suppressed. What else would you expect from a government at war with its own people? This is one reason they will try to delay work on the Keystone Pipeline project. That project will help people in the South and West, the most independent parts of the country, the people that voted against Obama’s Marxist policies. Therefore, it cannot be allowed to proceed. It must be stopped, delayed, or, if possible, shut down so that’s what they will do.

An article on http://4thst8.wordpress.com pretty well spells out what’s going on. It states: “President Obama this past week announced the creation of a national monument in southern New Mexico—the 500,000 acre Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument, which contains hiking trails, Native American ruins and Outlaw Rock, where Billy the Kid inscribed his name…Obama’s action looks suspiciously like an opening round in a bid to carry out a plan—first outlined in a secret Bureau of Land Management memo in 2010—that would lock up an area about the size of Colorado and Wyoming combined or about half of the BLM’s 264 million acres.. The Congressional Western Caucus released a copy of the 2010 memo—which is headed ‘Internal Draft—NOT FOR RELEASE’ and labeled ‘Treasured Landscapes.’ The memo lists more than two dozen specific areas from which the BLM seeks to lock out most human activity. Three of those are in Nevada…The Western Caucus described the 2010 memo as a plan to grab millions of acres of Western land:

‘The President is going down the list, and sealing off vast swaths of the West on behalf of his special interest allies, who view our states as their personal playground.” That about says it all—their personal playground—and in order for them to enjoy it and to reap the financial benefits from it, ordinary folks, ranchers, farmers, and others, need to be removed.

Again, I have to ask, how much of this is tied into the United Nations Agenda 21 Program and Agenda 21’s “Rewilding Project” whereby most of the land is set aside for the animals and humans are reduced to living in sardine can-sized “apartments” and crowded together in huge megacities which they are not allowed to travel outside of? I’d be willing to bet there is, at least, an eventual connection to all of this with Agenda 21.

You can’t honestly tell me that Obama is concerned about all this natural habitat for animals. I doubt if he even knows where New Mexico or Oklahoma are situated. Although he does claim that he’s been in all 57 states!

Can anyone spell LAND GRAB?

Cliven Bundy leaves GOP, joins the Independent American Party

What the GOP is doing to our western neighbors they did to the South in 1860, and are doing to all of us likewise again from DC!

With the Republican embrace of Cliven Bundy softening as soon as he offered his controversial views on the state of African Americans in the US, the Nevada rancher has decided to switch his allegiances.

According to the Associated Press, Bundy officially left the Republican Party last Friday, when both he and his wife registered as voters with the Independent American Party. The switch took place at an event held by his new political group, which was organized to honor “his courage in standing up for state sovereignty.”

Asked why he was changing parties, the Elko Daily quoted Bundy saying, “Well, I haven’t got much good out of the Democrats and Republicans so I decided to try a new one.”

As RT has reported in the past, over the last two months Bundy has been involved in a growing dispute with the federal government over land rights. The Bureau of Land Management claims it’s been over 20 years since the rancher paid the fees associated with allowing his cattle to graze on public land, meaning he’s amassed an overdue bill of roughly $1 million.

Bundy, however, does not recognize federal authority over public land, and argues that he doesn’t owe the government anything for using what his family had operated on since the late 1800s.

The situation came to a head when BLM agents attempted to seize Bundy’s cattle, prompting the rancher’s supporters – which included armed militia members – to come to his defense and initiate an armed standoff with federal agents. The cattle were eventually returned in order avoid escalation.

Bundy was praised by some Republicans for standing up to what they saw as government overreach, but the goodwill faded quickly when the rancher wondered aloud to a reporter whether African Americans were better off as slaves.

His new affiliation with the Independent American Party is noteworthy considering the group’s mission, which in part calls on members to reverse laws, regulations, and treaties that are “unconstitutional or an offense to God and our Founding Fathers.” It also seeks to “return the control of government back to the people.”

As noted by Raw Story, the IAP has endorsed David Lory Van Der Beek in his race to be Nevada’s lieutenant governor. Van Der Beek believes “terrorist attacks and mass shootings are government-backed false flag organizations,” and staged a faux, videotaped debate with a cardboard cutout of Nevada’s Republican Governor Brian Sandoval, in which he defended Bundy’s claim that he’s not beholden to the federal government.

Meanwhile, Republican congressional candidate Niger Innis, son of civil rights leader Roy Innis, also defended Bundy at Friday’s event, saying, “I don’t consider Cliven racist at all.”

“[Critics] will try to distract, with the firestorm that Cliven started by using the R-word,” he added, according to Buzzfeed. “The racism word. I can only tell you my experience with the Bundys. Having eaten with them and broken bread with them, and I don’t consider Cliven or his wonderful family racist at all. Period, end of story.”

Bundy Ranch 2.0: The Texas Offensive

As the dust settles in the Nevada Desert at the Bundy Ranch, despite a new FBI investigation into the activities there, the BLM have set their sights on a new piece of land in Texas that could shape up to be Bundy Ranch 2.0

Next News Network
The Red River runs between Texas and Oklahoma, and the Bureau of Land Management may be looking to control thousands of acres of land in that area.

According to Fox News, the bureau may be aiming to take possession of up to 90,000 acres in the northern parts of the Lone Star State. Governor Rick Perry has spoken out against the move, saying the federal government already controls too much land. The agency denies reports it is looking to increase its land holdings along the Red River.

A demonstration is planned for the region, and organizers say more than 1,000 people will attend. In Utah, another band of armed protesters intends to prevent the BLM from taking control of the Recapture Canyon. Recently, protesters caused the bureau to retreat from near the Bundy Ranch in Nevada. Matthew Short is a coordinator for Come and Take It America, and is planning the protest. He is active on the issue of Second Amendment rights.

To Protect a Mouse, Forest Service Cuts Off Water Access in New Mexico

Friday, 16 May 2014 09:55

Although it hasn’t reached Bundy levels of attention, leaders of a rural southern New Mexico county are bravely pushing back against a federal land grab of their own.

In Otero County, New Mexico, the federal Forest Service has fenced off a 23-acre section of land, preventing a rancher’s cattle from getting to a watering hole located on the tract.

Earlier this week, the county commission voted unanimously (with one commissioner absent) to empower the sheriff to open a gate, making a way for the cattle, some 200 in number, to get to the water. “We are reacting to the infringement of the U.S. Forest Service on the water rights of our land-allotment owners," Otero County Commissioner Tommie Herrell told Reuters. "People have been grazing there since 1956.”

As it did in the case of Cliven Bundy, the federal forest gestapo insists that the presence of the cattle threatens the “delicate ecosystem” along the Agua Chiquita that is home to the meadow jumping mouse.

Given the fact that this area of the state has been suffering under extreme drought conditions for over a year, ranchers in Otero County are particularly angry at the government’s ham-fisted attempt to exercise control over the site of the spring, effectively killing their cattle. “The winds are blowing; we’re in a drought. Sacramento Mountains are dry. So whatever water source these animals can find, they have to be able to get to it,” county commissioner Susan Flores told television station KVIA news earlier this month.

“The Forest Service has no right to appropriate water under New Mexico law,” Blair Dunn, an attorney for Otero County, told New Mexico Watchdog.

As is indicative of the whole of the Obama administration and its disdain for the rule of law and state sovereignty, the Forest Service claims the fences were erected in the 1990s and the Agua Chiquita creek runs through land owned by the federal government.

“We’ve provided reasonable access to the water, even if there is a water right on these sites,” Forest Supervisor Travis Moseley told KVIA-TV.

As for the mice that are supposedly being driven out by the thirsty herd, their presence isn’t exactly well known among locals.

"I’ve never seen one of these mice, and the Forest Service claims they caught one last year,” Commissioner Tommie Herrell told Reuters.

Forest Service spokesman Mark Chavez told Reuters that the New Mexico meadow jumping mouse was expected to be listed as an endangered species in June. That would endow that 23-acre tract with the all-important “critical habitat” designation.

Some residents of the rural county hope the feds force their will upon the ranchers. “The job of the Forest Service is to balance uses for the greatest good for the greatest number of Americans, not to provide subsidized grazing to welfare ranchers,” WildEarth Guardians posted on its Facebook page May 6. WildEarth Guardians are the self-proclaimed protectors of “the wildlife, wild places, wild rivers, and the health of the American West,” according to their website.

Despite being given the go-ahead by the county commission, as of publication time, Sheriff Benny House has not opened the gate in the Forest Service’s fence.

“Hopefully we can get something resolved on Friday,” said House, as quoted by the Washington Times.

A "facilitated discussion” has been scheduled to take place this Friday at the U.S. attorney’s office in Albuquerque.

“This is part of a larger issue,” the county’s attorney, Dunn, explained. “There’s a big, strong push, which comes from the White House, to push grazing and oil and gas uses off federal ground. This incident here is just another example.”

As for the Forest Service, they released a statement promising to “continue to work to ensure all parties involved understand that the fence is fully compliant with state and federal law.”

Dunn’s sense of the seriousness of the situation is accurate. The White House and its congressional co-conspirators seemed determined to seize control of the rural West, assuring themselves of monopoly control of the abundant minerals that bless the land and forcing Americans off the land and into cities where they are much more easily monitored and controlled.

Barely a month has passed since the showdown in Bunkerville, Nevada, the erstwhile grazing ground of rancher Cliven Bundy’s cattle.

The similarities in the cases are substantial, and both demonstrate the fact that the federal land control apparatus is marching under orders to invade the sovereign territory of Western states, in open and hostile defiance of the Constitution, the rule of law, principles of federalism, and Supreme Court rulings.

In the decision handed down by the Supreme Court in the case of Escanaba Co. v. City of Chicago, 107 U.S. 678, 689 (1883), the concept of constitutional interpretation known as the “equal footing doctrine” was established. It declares that the “equality of constitutional right and power is the condition of all the States of the Union, old and new.”

Basically, this principle requires that any state joining the union do so on equal footing with the 13 original states. As reported by the legal website Justia, “Since the admission of Tennessee in 1796, Congress has included in each State’s act of admission a clause providing that the State enters the Union ‘on an equal footing with the original States in all respects whatever.’”…  Finish reading

Hearings in Montana Legislature on Fedgov "Public Lands" Transfer

Written by  William F. Jasper

On Wednesday, May 14, the Montana legislature’s Environmental Quality Council and the legislature’s Federal Lands Study Group will hear from a number of Western states that are actively pursuing corrections in federal land management and efforts to bring about the transfer of millions of acres of federally controlled “public lands” to the states.

A Mouse, a Mouse-My Kingdom For a Mouse-the Sagebrush Rebellion Continues

By Al Benson Jr., Revised History

We’ve all heard about the federal officers in Nevada trampling on the rights of Cliven Bundy and his family and trying to steal his cattle, while at the same time roughing up members of his family. Who knows what wonders those federalized thugs may have performed had there not been a bit of opposition to them on hand to protect the Bundy family. That situation is far from over.

FBI full investigation of Bundy supporters in BLM dispute *vid*

Sadly, the FBI along with the other Fed "law enforcement" agencies can no longer be reliably trusted to be with the people. Paycheck upon job compliance overrides any loyalty oaths to our Constitution. Terrorism from above with state legislature duplicity. And they're spending our savings, incurring general debt for us to pay, and taxing us for what's left. All for our own enslavement. What a racket!

Being as 'we're the people' we should be using town meeting and election rallies to ask the candidates pop-up questions from your own state's constitution. Dollars to donuts not 10 in 100 legislators have even read it! We are the final say on term limits, not any courts. Find the list of state constitutions here. Even immigrants at one time had to pass a test for US residency!

LAS VEGAS -- The 8 News NOW I-Team has learned that FBI agents have started an investigation into the events surrounding a potentially deadly showdown one month ago surrounding rancher Cliven Bundy.

Ron Paul Warns Feds Could Launch Waco-Style Assault Against Bundy

Show of force possible, says former Congressman

Paul Joseph Watson

April 15, 2014

Ron Paul appeared on Fox News with Neil Cavuto last night to warn that the federal government could be planning to launch a Waco-style assault against Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy.
