How to Stop Iowa GOP from Stealing the Vote from Wherever You Are

As you have probably heard by now, the Iowa GOP has announced that they will move vote counting for the Iowa caucus to an "undisclosed location." This is allegedly in response to a "potential threat" from OWS to disrupt the vote counting- a threat that so far as anyone knows has never actually been made. OWS has disrupted individual candidate events, but there is no evidence they intend to disrupt vote counting.

We cannot discount the possibility that they intend to defraud Dr. Paul and We the People of a hard-fought election victory. Perhaps they do not understand what is at stake here. They will risk De-legitimizing the two party-system if they steal this election from the Good Doctor. Short term thinking might tempt them to try it. We need to find a way to deter them from this tyrannical course of action before they attempt it.

People in other states may not be able to punish the Iowa Republican party for stealing this vote, but we can definitely punish the Republican Party in our own state. We need to make an organized and individual attempt to let the Republican party in our own states know in advance what will happen if Dr. Paul is cheated in Iowa.

Unless the Dr. expressly declares that he is sure that the election was conducted fairly then we will retaliate against the GOP on all levels in all states. We won't vote for them even for Alderman. The very party label will be counted as the mark of a leper, the seal of the political crime family that stole democracy. If they don't want that, then they better get on the phone and tell their Iowa colleagues to operate with integrity in an open process.

It is not enough just to say that we will not vote for Romney. That is one race and Obama and Romney have the same polices anyway. It is not where the state chairmen live. Whatever personal contacts you have with the GOP in your state, ask them to make the call or talk to somebody with more pull in position to make the call. If you feel awkward being so blunt with them, send them this article and tell them you feel like this. There is so much at stake!
