As you'll readily realize the Gold Commission was a sham. We believe it was CFR Insider Lew Lehrman's task to derail and deflect any meaningful evidence revealed by a physical audit.
Such evidence would, of course, mean criminal indictments one being for high treachery for those current or living politicians and been the final nail in the coffin for the Fed. Hence, the physical of audit of Fort Knox (and NY Fed) was 'kicked down the road' for another time. That Time is now.

More recently, Raye has mentioned that the gold has been returned to Fort Knox, under better protection than previously. Below is one of the few articles (from 'The Globe' tabloid out of Canada, 12-15-81) which I have been able to find about Fort Knox during the time that the gold was reportedly missing. Another major media article about Ft. Knox has already appeared in the Reading Room, from The Los Angeles Times of July 1974.
