This is a strange one, and especially so since much of its content originated with the SPLC (link below). Our site has several posts alerting the reader to the SPLC advising federal agencies of targeted "patriot" groups. Could this be a true instance of the SPLC being duplicitous in murder by law enforcement agencies? More needs to come to light before reaching a conclusion.
In early 2011, a so-called “ambassador” of the RuSA group was shot and killed by police officers in Arizona. Whilst in West Virginia, a former “congressman” for the organization was found dead with his nine-year-old son in their trailer home – the case is still being investigated. (1)
It could be argued that it is no coincidence that so many members of RuSA have been associated with criminal activities, and that the feds are in actual fact out to destroy and criminalize the group.
Tim Turner insists that all members of RuSA are law-abiding citizens and the mounting allegations against them are due to the fact that they have uncovered truths about the illegitimacy of the federal government. (1)
Despite numerous attempts by Top Secret Writers to make contact with the group, RuSA refused to respond.

Feds Take Aim at the Republic for the United States of America
In 1776, the “Declaration of Independence” was announced, declaring that the united States was independent and no longer part of the British Empire.
The Declaration of Independence was one of the founding documents of the Republic for the u(sic)nited States of America, a group that formed – believe it or not – in 2010 and calls itself, “…the largest and most organized sovereign group in the United States today.” (1)
According to the Republic for the united States of America’s website, the right to re-inhabit is a lawful component of the 1776 declaration, as well as the “right to change, alter or abolish any system of government that we believe is contrary to the safety and security of the American people.” (2)
In 2010, Tim Turner was elected as the President of the Republic for the united States (RuSA), winning the vote among 50 ‘Grand Juries’ across America.
The organization’s president, Tim Turner has been the focus of such allegations.
According to a press statement released by the Department of Justice, last month a federal grand jury in Montgomery, charged Tim turner with:

A New Republic?
On its opening page on it website, the Republic for the united States asserts it mission:“We humbly come forward apologizing for the numerous atrocities we have unknowingly allowed the U.S. CORPORATION to carry out upon the international community. It is our mission to establish the American image of truth, honesty, integrity and honor around the world. Our plan is to rebuild our economy and support other economies around the world, fulfilling humanitarian needs.”Ironically, despite the Republic for the united States’ claims to establish honesty and integrity around the world, the reputation of the group has been dragged through the dirt following serious allegations about tax crimes and other criminalities.
The organization’s president, Tim Turner has been the focus of such allegations.
According to a press statement released by the Department of Justice, last month a federal grand jury in Montgomery, charged Tim turner with:
“…conspiracy to defraud the United States, attempting to pay taxes with fictitious financial instruments, attempting to obstruct and impede the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), failing to file a 2009 federal income tax return and falsely testifying under oath in a bankruptcy proceeding.”(3)The document goes on to describe allegations that Turner conducted seminars in which the Republic for united State’s president taught the seminar audience how to defraud the IRS by submitting fictitious bonds to the U.S. government in payment of federal taxes, and how to file retaliatory liens against government officials.
Waging Battle with the IRS
Other allegations made against Turner include the group’s President attempting to pay his own taxes with a fictitious $300 million bond, and assisting others to pay taxes with fabricated bonds claimed to be worth between $10 million and $100 billion. (3)
However, Tim Turner is not the only member of RuSA that has fallen foul with the Feds.
Earlier this year, reports emerged that Monty Ervin, a wealthy businessman of Alabama and who laid the foundations for RuSA, was found guilty of conspiracy to defraud the United States and three counts of tax evasion. (1)
Prior to Ervin’s conviction, another member of RuSa, also from South Alabama, went on the run after she was convicted for burglary of the ‘For Sale’ sign from her house in foreclosure, and declaring ownership.
Meanwhile another RuSA member from Birmingham is due do be tried for crimes of “paper terrorism”, which essentially involves filing fake property liens and court documents to “intimidate anyone he considered to be the enemy”. (1)

Authorities Killing RuSA Members
There have also been cases of RuSA members being mysteriously killed. In early 2011, a so-called “ambassador” of the RuSA group was shot and killed by police officers in Arizona.
