Western Special Forces Working With Death Squads in Syria Eyes Open Report

A new report by the British Mirror magazine has revealed that British special forces are now operating inside Syria in preparation for the “expected response” of cruise missiles and RAF bombing campaigns which will take place alongside the Americans and possibly the French.

The British special forces are allegedly in country in order to search out Syrian missiles and anti-aircraft weaponry as well as ammunition depots and military installations for potential targeting and evasion once the attacks begin. The special forces agents currently working inside Syria include the SAS, Special Boat Service, Special Reconnaissance Regiment, and MI6.

The Mirror writes[1] that some of the most important targets of the special forces are the Syrian government’s long-range mobile missile batteries due to the fear that they will be used against Western jets once the bombing campaign begins.

The Mirror quotes a “military source” as saying, “It is vital they find every missile site that could threaten British ships or RAF jets and they will probably be taken out by missiles fired from offshore. The risk of capture to these special forces units is off the scale and nobody can be trusted in Syria.”

The report also states,
Spies have already found scores of major military installations and ammo dumps in the war-stricken country.

Now the British military is waiting for the political green light as it prepares to act.

A huge force of Royal Navy warships and RAF jets could be called into action if MPs vote for air and sea strikes.

But it is likely any attack would involve a small number of precision missile strikes, launched from outside Syria.

The Navy will spearhead any UK operation against Assad, followed by the RAF, both working with US and French forces, but regular troops will not be sent in.
It is thought nuclear submarine HMS Tireless has been repositioned in the Mediterranean in readiness to launch Tomahawk cruise missiles against Assad’s military.

Yet, while the participation of Western intelligence agencies and special forces might be news to some, the fact is that such operations have been taking place since the beginning of the Syrian crisis in 2011.

Indeed, a recent article[2] from French newspaper Le Figaro reports that American, Israeli, and Jordanian commandos crossed the Syrian border only days before the chemical attack in Eastern Ghouta which the West has ridiculously attempted to blame on Assad. As Le Figaro reported, “According to our information, the regime’s opponents, supervised by Jordanian, Israeli, and American commandos moving towards Damascus since mid-August.”

The report also stated that “the first trained in guerrilla warfare by the Americans in Jordan, Syrian [rebel] troops reportedly entered into action since mid-August in southern Syria, in the region of Deraa. A first group of 300 men, probably supported by Israeli and Jordanian commandos, as well as men of the CIA, had crossed the border on August 17.”

In other words, no more than three days before the chemical attacks in Eastern Ghouta, which all evidence shows was the handiwork of the death squads, 300 trained “rebels” and possibly Western special forces themselves were advancing toward Damascus.

The contingents apparently were deployed[3] in two waves with the second group of fighters entering the Daraa region on August 19th.

This, of course, was not the only report of Western special forces troops being discovered operating inside Syria. Indeed, it was reported early on[4]in the Syrian destabilization effort that 13 French military officers[5] acting as mercenaries/death squad participants were captured by the Syrian government, all the while the mainstream Western media reported the events as “peaceful protest” and a grassroots level organic Syrian uprising against an oppressive regime. It was also reported by Israeli news agency DEBKAfile, a site with known intelligence connections, that British and Qatari troops were actually on the ground in Homs, Syria as early as February, 2012. As RT reported at the time,[6]

British and Qatari troops are directing rebel ammunition deliveries and tactics in the bloody battle for Homs, according to an Israeli website known for links to intelligence sources.

Four centers of operation have been established in the city with the troops on the ground paving the way for an undercover Turkish military incursion into Syria.

The debkafile site said the presence of British and Qatari troops in Homs topped the agenda of Tuesday’s talks between Assad’s officials and head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service Mikhail Fradkov.

Around the same time, hacked emails obtained by Anonymous in December 2011[7] and released by WikiLeaks in steady drips ever since February 27, 2012, revealed that NATO troops, including those from the U.S., U.K, and France, were likely already operating inside Syria.

The emails were obtained from the private U.S. intelligence firm, Stratfor, and were apparently sent by Stratfor’s Director of Analysis, Reva Bhalla (bhalla@stratfor.com) and contain discussion of a December confidential Pentagon meeting which was attended “by senior analysts from the US Air Force, and representatives from its chief allies, France and the United Kingdom.
