Oklahomans State Constitutional Tampering Cost their Citizens more than $300,000 Fighting the Wrong Enemy

First of all OK state legislators jumped off on the wrong foot (or both feet) in a display of political showmanship for their constituents. As a pretense to 'protecting' Christians, lawmakers have permitted "christian" organizations to seek privileged tax shelter "charity" under the IRS 501(c)3 umbrella. Why not Krishna, Atheism, or even Satanism? As we understand our US Constitution we - as states - under the Free Enterprise Clause shall not discriminate.  If Americans willingly seek Sharia, so be it.Who do you think you are to grant 'rights' to some while depriving others? G-d?

BUT... here's where the Oklahoma legislature failed in their duty - they aren't following the money and where it comes from. So what if CAIR-OK is affiliated with the Washington, DC - CAIR. There are numerous subversive groups now with an IRS charter as non-profits posturing as "religious", "rights protection", and so on. So-called "tea party" groups are even permitted. Why not George Soros? Our individual liberties are infringed daily by multiple interlopers. We won't even get into the political IRS-approved tax-exempts.

These thefts of liberty and wages were never authorized powers granted under the US Constitution to man's lawmakers. Not even special dispensations to Christian churches are constitutionally lawful. The US Constitution is the law of the land, not the Supreme Court.

And, it's really quite simply to understand when one realizes that the Internal Revenue Service(IRS) was itself created unlawfully! It's not even part of the US Government, but a collection agency of the Federal Reserve bankers which the Fed itself is unlawful!

And, now knowing this, my friends, gives way to the state NULLIFICATION of "laws" that are Unlawful with the federal Constitution in their states.

Yes, the IRS is a major root in our enslavement. Now then, maybe all the businessmen would not be happy if they were found to be unlawfully collecting taxes from an employee's paycheck for the fedgov; but the workers, state & private employees alike  certainly would be delighted. Which state will be first to muster the courage to "go Constitutional" give the IRS a boot in the arse and outa the state! A constitutional convention (CON-CON) is NOT required! Just send brave citizens to represent you who will stand their ground for nullification.

Silly Anti-Sharia Law Cost Oklahoma Taxpayers more than $300,000

Oklahomans are on the hook for more than $300,000 for adopting a state constitutional amendment banning the use of Islamic law in state courts.

Established in 2010 by lawmakers and voters, the “Save Our State Amendment” targeted Sharia law, which conservatives claimed was a threat to Oklahoma. The resolution was written by Republican state Rep. Rex Duncan, who characterized the proposed ban as a “preemptive strike” against the law.

But Muneer Awad, director of the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, argued the law violated the First Amendment’s prohibition on the government favoring one religion over another.

He also said the amendment would interfere with his will being probated because it contained references to Islam and Islamic law.

Muneer successfully sued the state to stop the law, winning favorable decisions before a federal judge and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

He then demanded the state pay for his legal fees, and won yet another ruling, this time before U.S. District Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange.

The bill: $303,333.

Michael Salem, who helped Muneer with his lawsuit, told The Oklahoman that the law was pointless, not to mention costly, given there were no indications that Sharia law was creeping into the legal system.

“It created a solution where there was no problem that existed,” he said. “This was just politicians optimistically looking for an issue. Look what happened. Not only did the state question get struck down, but they’ll have to pay attorney fees and interest over three years.”
