Republicans Kill Constitutional Carry in SC Senate

Will they go unopposed in 2016? Aren't there any Jeffersonian Democrats left in South Carolina? Pay close attention: John Brown, America's first terrorist was hung for Treason by the sovereign state (Commonwealth) of Virginia, and not the federal government!

Hi,

The Senate Judiciary Committee, which has a 14-9 Republican majority, killed the Constitutional Carry bill by a vote of 17-4.

Constitutional Carry would have been a great step forward in restoring the right to keep and bear arms as outlined by the Second Amendment.

Constitutional Carry simply states that you should not have to get permission from a bureaucrat and pay them a fee to exercise your inalienable right to self-defense.

This bill would not impact current CWP holders and keeps the structure of the system in place for those who desire reciprocity with other states.
